Mount Laurel, NJ – Samaritan celebrated its 36th annual golf tournament, “Drive FORE! A Good Cause,” at Little Mill Country Club in Marlton, bringing together supporters for a record-setting day of fundraising. Presented by The Richardson Family Dealerships, this year’s event generated more than $246,000 to support the essential services Samaritan provides as a leader in palliative medicine, hospice care, social connections, grief support and complex illness care for individuals and families throughout South Jersey.

The 2026 tournament also featured the Lexus Champions for Charity event, sponsored by Lexus of Cherry Hill, giving golfers the opportunity to compete for an exclusive chance to play at the renowned Pebble Beach golf course in California. Golfers also enjoyed on-course contests, sponsored by Challenge Sponsor Mancine Optical, a 50/50 raffle and more activities throughout the day.  In addition, Samaritan’s annual online auction offered a wide selection of items and experiences, including dining experiences, sports tickets and other unique prizes.

“Many of our volunteers, trustees and committee members – as well as sponsors and golfers – have a personal experience with Samaritan, meaning we cared for a family member. Their coming together in the spirit of gratitude and giving through this tournament is a powerful thing to be a part of, and we are grateful for their continued support,” said Chris Rollins, Chief Development Officer, Samaritan. “A special thanks to presenting sponsor The Richardson Family Dealerships and to our returning committee co-chairs Cliff Mancine and Roy Fazio, who have been helping to make this tournament a success for over two decades each.”

Funds raised through the tournament help ensure Samaritan can continue delivering compassionate, high-quality care to more than 13,000 patients, clients and family members across South Jersey each year, as well as providing support for Samaritan’s essential “above and beyond” services for patients and their loved ones, including massage and music therapy, art therapy, pet therapy, caregiver resources and expanded grief support offerings.
