When is Inpatient Hospice Care Necessary?

At-home hospice is often the goal for our Mount Holly, New Jersey patients. However, there are times when severe symptoms require an advanced level of care that is better provided during a short stay at our inpatient hospice care facility.

During one of our visits, if we find an at-home patient’s needs have intensified, our team may recommend a short-term transfer to our Mount Holly, NJ hospice facility. If a patient is admitted to a hospital with severe symptoms, a hospital liaison may recommend this as well.
