Queen-NurQueen Nur is a highly interactive international Storyteller and Teaching Artist from Willingboro, NJ. Following the griotic tradition, her stories capture historical victories, celebrate folkloric traditions, and profoundly speak the quintessence of humanity. Audiences may experience tears upon the soul; and within the same breath of story, have a toe-tapping, hand-clapping good time.

Nicole Angemi, a South Jersey pathologist's assistant, embraces the Latin phrase: Mortui vivos docent, meaning the dead teach the living. Her wildly popular Instagram account has 1.1 million followers and serves as an excellent educational platform for damaged and diseased body parts. Nicole's presentation about what the dead teach the living is interesting, some-what grotesque, and very informative!

Alison Dilworth  is a Philadelphia muralist, painter, photographer and blogger. She is also a doula. She will lead a discussion of her blog post, “Your Bartender is Having a Miscarriage and You Order Another Round,’’ about miscarriage, taboo subjects, resilience and the creation of shrines.
