This September 7 and 8, 2023, we are raising awareness and funds for The Mary Ann Boccolini Institute for Education, Research & Innovation. Scroll down to give today!
Samaritan’s “Day of Giving” is an invitation to the community we serve to invest in the future of palliative and hospice care. Through the work of The Mary Ann Boccolini Institute for Education, Research & Innovation, Samaritan will lead the way meeting the healthcare needs of our region. Just as our founding volunteers and donors did over 40 years ago, your contribution pays it forward, and will make a real difference in the care and lives of others.
After a quarter-century of servant leadership, Samaritan’s President and CEO, Mary Ann Boccolini retired at the end of 2022. As a lasting legacy to her lifelong passion to advance hospice and palliative care, Samaritan has established The Mary Ann Boccolini Institute for Education, Research & Innovation.
The Institute will lead the advancement of person-centered, life-enhancing through such potential new and ongoing programs as our palliative medicine fellowship, nursing scholarships, community outreach and continuing education, peer-reviewed research and publications, convening the community around such issues as social isolation and loneliness, and the pursuit of innovative advancements in hospice and palliative care. The work of the institute will remain aligned with Samaritan’s charitable mission, and devoted to Mary Ann’s devotion to putting love into the world.
Your gift supports Samaritan’s mission of providing extraordinary compassion and professional expertise to help our patients, clients, and those who care about them, live their best life every day.
You’re giving the gift of comfort, support, and HOPE!
