Gifts to Remember or
Each year, Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice is the fortunate and grateful beneficiary of memorial gifts, most of which are in loving memory of patients who were in our care. In addition, we receive many gifts in honor of friends, family, and caregivers, as well as gifts marking celebrations such as weddings, birthdays, etc. These thoughtful and appreciated donations help to sustain Samaritan’s charitable mission.
Below is our donation form. To view a list of those being recognized through memorial and honor gifts from 1/1/2016 - 12/31/2016, visit HERE.
We invite you to keep that remembrance alive, by continuing your support of Samaritan. When combined with the generosity of others, the legacy of your contribution is a living endowment, assuring the continued availability of Samaritan’s life-enhancing services. These services include inpatient and at-home hospice care, palliative medicine, grief counseling and support, and our geriatric care management service, SeniorWise Care Management.
Southern New Jersey’s first hospice is a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization, making your gift eligible for a charitable income-tax deduction, as allowed by law. Donors of $100 or more earn membership in our Circle of Caring, and recognition in our annual report.
Tree of Life Remembrances
Moving ceremonies are held throughout Samaritan's service area at the beginning of December. Individuals can make a donation and dedicate a light on one of the trees in honor or in memory of their loved one. The short program includes candle lightings, readings, songs, and the lighting of the tree; followed by fellowship and light refreshments. More >>
Many of our families and friends in the community organize third-party events, often in memory of loved ones who received care from Samaritan. More >>
Please understand that credit card donations must be $10.00 or greater.
